To request free sharpening under our Sharpening Policy, complete and submit our Sharpening Form. After you receive your email confirmation, please print the included form and mail with your tool(s) to be sharpened in a padded, insured mailer to the following address:

Upon receipt of these materials, Tweezerman will inspect your tool(s) to be sharpened and make a final determination of your eligibility for benefits under the Sharpening Policy.  You will receive updates on the status of your sharpened implement at the email address you provided on your Sharpening Form. 

Please note that you do NOT have to send an extra padded mailer for return. Due to a high volume of sharpening orders, there is currently a 6-8 week lead time to receive all sharpened implements. For international orders, please allow for an additional delivery time of up to 10 weeks.

Do you charge for sharpening?  

No. Sharpening is FREE of charge, aside from the initial shipping to our facility. We will happily sharpen Tweezerman Tweezers, Nippers and Scissors that have become dull through normal use FREE for as long as the implement can be re-sharpened. No processing fees. No Shipping & Handling fees on return back to you.

Our Sharpening Policy does not apply to products that have been misused or modified, products that have been repaired by anyone other than Tweezerman Service Center, or products purchased from an unauthorized seller.  Tweezerman reserves the right to reject Sharpening Policy requests if it determines, in its sole discretion, that an implement to be sharpened is counterfeit, or in cases of fraud or abuse of the Sharpening Policy. 

What if my tweezers, nippers or scissors cannot be sharpened?  

If the Tweezers, Nippers or Scissors become damaged and cannot be sharpened, we will send you a coupon to purchase a new implement at half its current suggested price (at our option), redeemable only on www..

May I have my old implement back if you choose to send me a coupon?  

Yes, if we are unable to sharpen your implement or if we determine that your implement does not qualify for free sharpening under our Sharpening Policy, we can either send you back the implement or we can keep the implement and send you a coupon to purchase a replacement at 50% off the retail price on . Both of these options are available for you to choose on the Free Sharpening Form. 

Can any Tweezerman implement be sent in for sharpening?  

No. Only our Tweezers, Nippers and Scissors can be re-sharpened and only by our sharpening service center, with the exception of Ultra Precision Series tools and gunmetal grey-black Slant Tweezers, which have protective-finish coated tips that cannot be re-sharpened. Also, if Nipper springs break we will replace them at no charge. ** We can sharpen Ultra Precision, Rose Gold and Gunmetal grey/black slant tweezers however the protective coating will no longer be on the tips of the implement.

What cleaning is required for sending implements for sharpening?  

Implements must be cleaned before sending to us. Implements that have not been cleaned will not be sharpened or replaced. To clean your stainless steel implement, follow the Use & Care directions on the product page on . Please be sure to wipe tool tips/ends/blades thoroughly and carefully with isopropyl rubbing alcohol and a cloth or tissue. Thank you for your understanding that implements that have not been cleaned by the customer will not be sharpened or replaced.

How to package & send my implement for sharpening?  

After completing the Sharpening Form on this page and receiving your email confirmation from Tweezerman, please print a copy of your email confirmation from Tweezerman and include it with your implements in an insured padded mailer. You do not need to send an extra padded mailer for the return of the implement. Tweezerman will supply their own padded mailer with the return of your implements. Once packaged and insured, please mail your implements to the following address:

Packages with insufficient postage will be returned to the sender.
